Information you provide: account information (email and password); profile information (name, age, gender, photos, bio, and preferences); and content (messages, photos, and other content you send).
Information collected automatically: location data (your country, city, and approximate location, used to show nearby users and country flags); usage data (likes, matches, visits, activity times); and basic device information needed to operate the service.
What we do NOT collect: we do not collect or store sensitive biometric data, and we do not collect or store financial or payment card information. All purchases are handled securely by the app store.
We use your information to create and manage your account; show your profile to other users and help you discover matches; enable messaging, likes, matches, and other core features; display your general location and country to relevant users; investigate reports, enforce our Terms, and keep the community safe; send you official announcements and safety notices; and improve and maintain the app.
Photos you upload are stored using a third-party media hosting provider (Cloudinary) and are displayed to other users as part of your profile. Do not upload photos you are not comfortable sharing publicly within the app.
Your profile information (name, age, photos, general location, bio) is visible to other users as part of the core dating experience. Messages you send are visible to their recipients. Be mindful of the personal information you choose to share.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
DIAMO relies on trusted third-party services to operate, including Firebase (Google) for authentication and database storage, and Cloudinary for photo hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
DIAMO displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (currently Google AdMob). These networks may use your device's advertising identifier and limited device information to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your Android settings.
If you allow notifications, we store a device push token in order to deliver alerts about likes, matches, messages and profile views. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Premium users can translate received messages on demand. When you tap translate, the text of that single message is sent to Google Cloud Translation to produce the translation. Messages are never translated automatically.
DIAMO is committed to a safe community. Sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate content is strictly prohibited. Users can report or block other users directly within the app. When a report is submitted, we may review the relevant conversation history and profile information to investigate. We may remove content and suspend or permanently ban users who violate our rules. Bans may be temporary, permanent, or device-level for serious or repeated violations.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. When you request deletion, your data is scheduled for removal, subject to a short grace period during which you may recover your account. Some information may persist temporarily in backups or where retention is required by law.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct or update your information, request deletion of your account and data, and control location and permission settings through your device. You can delete your account at any time through the app settings.
DIAMO is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it immediately.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. By using DIAMO, you consent to this transfer and processing.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other means. Your continued use of DIAMO after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
